Suggestion. I thought it would be better to through the idea around here than the main community cause maybe then ppl would start throwing ideas around all the time. Could we make one of the contests about period mini TV shows? We have so many ones by austen (look at my info page) but none by Elizabeth Gaskell. I checked the memories. And I don't' know about you but I loved North and South. And Wives and Daughters as well. I liked it for a different reason though. I was blown away by Michael Gambon's performance. Where as for example in Jane Eyre I drooled over Toby Stephens. ;) Heheheh ok I am drifting. I guess I am suggesting Gaskell colourbars. :) Food for thought. You don't even have to respond.

And yes I know Jane Eyre is by Bronte. I just had to throw it in there because it is my favourite book in English literature so far. But just so you know North and South is not far behind.
